At HGSC it goes without saying we love football! This has helped to establish the club and grow over the last 14 years. Alongside football we are strong believers in helping our community as we feel that helping others is a key part of understanding how other people live and identifying ways in which we can help improve those lives helps our members develop character & life skills. We have been consistently organizing fundraising events through football since our inception and have raised significant funds to support numerous good causes.
Our primary event every year will is the Ramadan Tournament which culminates in the Ramadan Cup. This year we have partnered up with the charity Global Relief Trust and will raise funds to support Palestine. This is a cause close to our hearts and the Palestine flag has always proudly been incorporated into our club badge.
This year we will change the name of the tournament to The Palestine Tournament to ensure we keep focus on this critical cause. The Palestine Tournament is a series of friendly football matches with the focus on fundraising whilst the Palestine Cup is an annual fundraiser where we partner with several amateur football clubs to not only come together to play football but also raise money for charity.
